About Us

Community-Wide Effort

Rabun County’s Sharing and Caring Center is a nonprofit organization providing essential service and support to the community, and dedicated to helping individuals and families in need throughout Rabun County. The center is located near the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia at 108 Plaza Way in Clayton.
The organization provides assistance with basic necessities for families, such as food, clothing, utility and shelter support, as well as emergency aid for local residents facing hardship. The ministry operates through donations, volunteers, and community partnerships, working to ensure that struggling families have access to compassionate support during difficult times.

The organization operates a thrift store and food pantry that help to fund and sustain its outreach efforts in the community. By encouraging residents to donate gently used items, volunteer, and contribute financially, Sharing and Caring creates a community-wide effort focused on helping neighbors in need. Their focus reflects a spirit of service, compassion, and cooperation that has made the organization an important source of assistance and hope for many people in the Rabun County area.
